Though each show has been built to accomplish different business goals for different segments; the shows will share one registration system for your convenience.

COMPANY REGISTRATION TYPES

Your registration type is determined by the primary category for your organization as well as your main reason for attending (buying vs. selling).

SellerReceptive OperatorCompany that provides some or all components of a tour package for resale by a motorcoach/tour/wholesale operator
SellerCharter OperatorMotorcoach company that provides equipment for hire
SellerAssociateSupplier of products and services to the transportation industry, to include bus manufacturers, equipment companies, insurance carriers, etc. OR suppliers of group tour & travel goods and services.

* Bus Operators companies can attend as Buyers and Sellers. They can be Buyers, Receptive Operators and/or Charter Operators depending on their business purpose in attending Marketplace.
** Tour Operators can attend as Buyers and Sellers. They can be Buyers and/or Receptive Operators depending on their business purpose in attending Marketplace.

DELEGATE EVENT ROLE

Each participant within a company registration type is assigned an event role that determines access. An individual can have multiple event roles if he/she is registered for more than one organization or company registration type.

Tour and Travel Buyer Appointment-TakerBuyer$0Operators attend ABA’s Marketplace to meet with travel industry suppliers (Sellers) to create business relationships and plan future charters and tours. Buyer Appointment-Taker delegates are seated at individual booths for the entire week on the Business Floor and have appointments all day on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. There are 162 appointment slots available in the Buyer appointment schedule.
Tour and Travel Buyer RotationBuyer$0Rotation delegates alternate the appointment responsibilities with the Appointment-taker. Buyers can send one rotation delegate for every Appointment-taker delegate registered. Rotation delegates have the same privileges as Appointment-taker delegates.
Allied Association RepresentativeSpecial$0Employees of state, regional or national associations serving the motorcoach, transportation or group travel industry participating without business appointments.

Appointment-taker delegates make appointment requests, receive prescheduled appointments and conduct appointments at ABA’s Marketplace during their business session. Seller appointment-taker delegates do not have booths but walk the floor and move from Buyer to Buyer for their appointments. There are 54 appointment slots available in the Seller appointment schedule. The Seller session is based on the company’s primary segment. The number of appointment-takers is limited based on previous Marketplace’s operator requests.

A registered Travel Industry Seller who is not eligible for prescheduled appointments due to appointment-taker registration limitations. Appointment-sharing delegates may participate in all activities, seminars and events of ABA’s Marketplace. Business Floor delegates have access to the Marketplace Business Floor area to meet with available operators and/or attend appointments with their company’s Appointment-taker delegate. Appointment-sharing delegates are not eligible for their own prescheduled or manually scheduled appointments.
