Frequently Asked Questions

No. Marketplace offers both member and non-member registration options, although eligibility and pricing vary by delegate type. Review the registration options to identify the right category for your organization.

First-time Marketplace attendees receive the STAR designation.

STAR delegates are encouraged to visit the Marketplace Delegate Depot, meet one-on-one with an experienced Marketplace delegate through the Ambassador Program and participate in a Floor Tour of the Marketplace Networking and Business Floors.

First-time delegates should also attend Orientation, research the companies they will meet, carry plenty of business cards and use meals and social events as networking opportunities.

Marketplace offers seven-minute prescheduled appointments where motorcoach and tour operator Buyers meet with travel industry Sellers.

Buyer Appointment-Takers are seated at individual booths and have appointments throughout Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Seller Appointment-Takers do not have booths; they walk the Business Floor and move from Buyer to Buyer during their assigned sessions.

Buyer schedules include up to 150 appointment slots. Seller schedules include up to 50 appointment slots.

U.S. citizens do not need a visa to enter Canada, but they must show proof of citizenship and identity.

A valid U.S. passport book is required for air travel. Passport cards may only be used for land and sea border crossings. Canada requires your passport to be valid through your departure date, although six or more months of remaining validity is recommended.

Have your hotel confirmation and Marketplace registration handy when entering Canada.

Exhibitors purchase exhibit space on the Marketplace Networking Floor to showcase their products, services or coaches.

Sponsors select opportunities designed to increase visibility, drive engagement and keep their brand in front of Marketplace attendees before, during and after the event. Some sponsorship levels include booth space and additional exhibitor benefits.
