Busworld is known around the world for putting on the best and most thought-provoking education programs in the bus and motorcoach industry. They is recognized for bringing together key industry influencers such as presidents of major bus and motorcoach operators and manufacturers from around the world, experts in bus and motorcoach technology, scientists and engineers working on the latest technologies, suppliers to the industry and others who shape the trends today and in the future. This year’s theme of Green and Safe will provide timely information over two days of sessions.

BW2 | Understanding the Customer Journey from Booking to Drop Off: Session 1

In this four-hour workshop attendees from various backgrounds in the bus industry will learn to look at their business from a customer-centric point of view. This workshop is aimed at all staff members involved in increasing ridership in transit, on-demand services, and motorcoach operations and tourism.

In Session 1, we tackle specific points within the overall customer journey, including overall eCommerce strategy, loyalty and retention, online marketing, smart pricing and more. We will also discuss distribution and third-party selling platforms and wrap up with a look into on-demand, smart route planning and other new business opportunities.

Come and listen to best practices, learn how to implement necessary hygienic measures, and how to increase ridership by marketing your efforts.

If the bus and motorcoach industry is to recover, it first must build customer confidence that this transportation mode is safe and clean. A recent Busworld Foundation research study has indicated the absolute need for effective air purification and sanitization of surfaces, in addition to the existing ventilation systems. In this seminar, different techniques and technologies for air purification will be presented. They are not only applicable in new vehicles but can be retrofitted in today’s fleet.
